CHRISTMAS CHILLERS
Short Story Competition
First Prize £50 and publication on Writelink
Two runners up prizes of £25
Word count 1500 maximum
Entry fee:  £4.50 per story
Entries close 8th November, 2009

1.  All stories must be original and the work of the author.
2.  Word count is 1500 words
3.  Entries can be submitted on-line or by post.
4.  Postal entries must be submitted on one side of A4 paper, double spaced with your name, address and telephone number on a separate sheet of paper or on the official entry form.  
5.  Closing date for entries is 8th November, 2009.
6.  All entries must begin with the opening line, “The good fairy stared through the sifting curtain of snow and wondered …”
7.  Your entry must have a title!
8.  Winners will be notified by the 20th December, 2009
9.  All stories must be accompanied by the entry fee of £4.50 per story
10.  All entrants will receive a full judge’s report provided they have supplied a valid email address or a s.a.e.
11  No entries will be returned so please keep a copy!
12.  The judge’s decision is final.  No correspondence will be entered into.

Only 100 entries will be accepted for this competition so you are strongly advised to register for a place and then send in your entry by the closing date, 
8th November, 2009

and a REMINDER EMAIL sent out as the closing date approaches.
