They say everyone has a book inside them so now’s your chance to prove it by submitting the opening chapter to a novel.
You can write on any subject or genre, but you’ll need to ensure your work is a real page turner to be in with a chance!

RULES:
1. All entries must be original and the work of the author.
2. Word count is 2,500 words
3. A brief outline of your novel must accompany each entry. This should not be any longer than 500 words.
4. Entries can be submitted on-line or by post.
5. Postal entries must be submitted on one side of A4 paper, double spaced with your name, address and telephone number on a separate sheet of paper. Alternatively, download an entry form Here.
6. Closing date for entries is 31st May, 2008.
7. All entries must be given a title.
8. All entries must be accompanied by the entry fee of £6.50 per story.
9. All entrants will receive a full judge’s report provided they have supplied a valid email address or a s.a.e.
10. No entries will be returned so please keep a copy!
11. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
