Of course you do! Every freelance writer should be wearing a business hat when putting pen to paper which means you do not write for free! If you are attempting to make at least part of your living from writing, every word you write must contribute to your coffers. Be it promoting your products, services or affiliate programs or better still in return for good old fashion cash which is the aim of this article!

Having searched amongst a plethora of the highest paying affiliate programs and finally signed up with something which fits with your interests, how do you get those all important link clicks which will hopefully lead to a hefty commission?

As with skinning cats, there are many ways to do this, not all of them totally above board! Leaving those black hat methods aside, one very good way of encouraging link clicks is by writing product reviews.

These can be particularly effective as any...

Adding an anchor text link to your Writelink blog is much the same as doing it in Word.

You may have a little trouble with the Firefox web browser though, (I don’t, but others have had issues so I would advise using Internet Explorer if you run into problems).

Link building is a vital part of promoting any web based product or service including affiliate programs such as our Magnificent 7 ebooks.

It isn't difficult to do, but unfortunately the process can vary depending upon which software is being utilised.

Hopefully, this tutorial will show you how to add an anchor text link to the major software systems most writers use to promote their work and affiliate links.

I'm not too sure everyone would agree with that, but there is certainly no need to be shy about wanting to turn a useful coin from your writing and one of the ways you can do this is by promoting affiliate programmes specifically aimed at writers.

Targeting a niche group is by far the best way to profit from any affiliate programme as it is much easier to make sales from your interests than from something you couldn't care less about. Whether you write for pleasure or for profit, you are li...

Get your head around this headline and there is nothing you can't achieve, including a solid writing career earning you a good living. The problem is the vast majority of writers do not make the best use of the one attribute that has lead them to pick up a pen in the first place ... their imagination!

If you are not selling articles, winning writing contests or finishing that novel then it's time for some upbeat thinking by giving your imagination a poke in a more positive direction.

There's no doubt about it selling ebooks is profitable and when done properly, can add dramatically to your income even to the point of replacing the day job entirely. Almost every budding internet entrepreneur has quickly realised this, but unfortunately the majority are doomed to failure because they think all ebooks are created equal ... they are not!

A scary ghost story isn't difficult to write once you hit on a shivery idea. The good news is you don't have to do a lot of head scratching to come up with a really spooky plot. Just take a look at a few urbane myths and spooky stories commonly doing the rounds to fire up the grey matter!

Here are a few to get you started. Don't write them up as they are though, change settings, characters and perhaps combine two or more incidents to create something fresh. Above all, make ‘em shiver!

You can't beat a really, really, scary ghost story! Especially when the nights draw in and the fire roars up the chimney and that rattling draught rippling up and down your spine is probably just the icy current from your decrepit pile, but there again ... what if ..?

Indeed, what if? Like any form of short fiction, a good ghost story depends upon taking the ordinary and making it extra-ordinary. You do this by asking some challenging questions. What if that draught is actually a pas...
