The other day I was browsing the internet for some books, some for Christmas presents and some to read to the kids.

I stumbled across a book called Dickens' Christmas, written by Simon Callow. I found the book very interesting.

Dickens himself had a 'fancy' for education and learning.

The books he read gave him salvation.

As Dickens he grew older he went to the theatre, there he constructed his characters, plots and humour, which manifest the great story A Christmas Carol.

Reading this book, gave me the sense of Christmas, a happy feeling, a warm feeling and a spirit.

However, it also feels like Christmas is lost, when I look around it doesn't have the same effect.

A company that I cannot name hasn't a tree or any decorations due to staff and religions.

In the book it says that Christmas was banned for twelve years. (hoping that doesn't happen again). It was Dickens who brought the spirit of Christmas back to life.

I hope that anyone who reads this, holds that Christmas Spirit, especially for the children. To think about the poor and the elderly and them who are alone this time of the year. I hope you can dig into your pockets and give to the less fortunate.

On that note I am wishing everyone 'A Very Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year'
