fairytale illustrations. They can be
found growing nearby birch, pine and spruce trees.<br /><br /> The growing season is late summer to early winter. These photographs were taken
in the middle of October 2010.</span> <span style="color: #ff0000; font-size: small;"><br /><br /> The fungus was traditionally used as a fly killer and has hallucinogenic
properties.</span></p>
