<p><span style="font-size: small;">We had a superb Chat session last night discussing Profitable Bloglancing For Freelance Writers. One thing I discovered was quite a few members are a little mystified about how you can make your blog posts put some cash into your pockets.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">I have to admit I was the same until I started to delve into it! Anyway, just to make things a bit more clear, I've added an article to the Articles section of the site.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"><a href="http://bit.ly/bloglancingarticle" title="Profitable Bloglancing For Freelance Writers">PROFITABLE BLOGLANCING FOR FREELANCE WRITERS</a></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">Would be a good idea to read the Chat debrief as well. It's on the forums.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">By the way, <em>BLOGLANCING</em> now appears on Google! See what comes up when you search!</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">In one form or another there has been a lot of talk about ebooks around here and other places on the web. Are they any good? Is it real publishing? How do you write them? Should you write them? and more importantly, can you make any money from them?</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">Well I'm a big believer in ebooks! You may have noticed I use them a lot, not only as a promotional tool to attract new members to Writelink, but actually sell some of them as do millions of others.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">It's been in the back of my mind to write an ... er ... ebook on how to do this, but Nick Daws has beaten me to it! I don't mind as I've just reviewed his course and found it an excellent publication for anyone new to epublishing.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">If this is something you've been considering, but don't know where to start, you'll find the review here:</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;">Well not quite, but certainly if you’ve got any old Macs,
(not the type that keeps the rain off!), I’m talking laptops or Xbox games
consoles, PlayStations, Wiis or games for any of these then you can easily
convert them into cash.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;"><br /></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;"><a href="http://www.paidonresults.net/c/21466/1/394/suesblog" title="Speedsell">Speedsell</a></span></strong> is the site you need, it is a consoles and games
recycler and is very easy to use.<span> </span>Just type
in your make and model details and the online calculator will give you an
instant valuation.<span> </span>If you’re happy with
that and want to proceed, <strong><a href="http://www.paidonresults.net/c/21466/1/394/suesblog">Speedsell</a></strong> will send you a prepaid envelope or send a
carrier for larger items the very next day.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;"><br /></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;">Provided your items are all you cracked them up to be,
you’ll be paid within 4 days.<span> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;"><br /></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;">You can expect to be paid around £10 for games and anything
up to £592 for a MacBook air in good condition with all manuals and discs.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;"><br /></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;">Sounds great!<span> </span>Only
one problem, I gave all my sons redundant Playstations and Xboxes plus dozens
of games away to our local charity shop.<span> </span>Oh well, gone to a good cause so I don’t mind too much.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;">It did get me thinking though, are there any other companies
buying superfluous gadgets?<span> </span>Indeed there
are!</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;">Used mobile phones believe it or not fetch anywhere from a
few pounds to £150 depending on condition, make and model.<span> </span>Like Speedsell these companies have tools for
you to get an online valuation and then send you pre-paid envelopes for you to
send in your phone.<span> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;">If you’ve been honest in your description, payment arrives a
few days later.<span> </span>There are quite a lot of
these firms around, two of the best are <strong><a href="http://tinyurl.com/38l8mfj" title="Money For My Mobile">Money for My Mobile</a> </strong>and Phone Recycle
Bank.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;"><br /></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;">Both these sites are very easy to use and you can quickly
compare one against the other to get the best deal.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;"><br /></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;">I have to say I’m not a big fan of mobile phones and would
happily recycle my brand new Nokia for a couple of cans and a piece of string
if it didn’t mean a rollicking row from Nearest and Dearest who is adamant I
take a phone with me when I’m riding my horse.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;"><br /></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;">I do believe I have something resembling a brick lurking at
the bottom of a drawer, though so I wonder how much they’d give me for that?</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><a href="http://www.paidonresults.net/c/21466/1/394/suesblog" title="Speedsell"><span style="font-size: small;"><br /></span></a></p>

<p> </p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">I certainly hope not! The reason I'm bringing this up is because I've had a couple of emails this week from new writers asking about content providing sites. Co-incidently this has also cropped up on the site recently so I thought I'd update an article I wrote a couple of years ago when the very same questions were being posed.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">Both the emails I received wanted to know whether you could make any real money from writing for them. Some writers can and some do, but most do not!</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">In fact, if you are not careful you can spend hours and hours crafting quality articles which may or may not earn you a few dollars.</span> </p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">In view of this, you going to expect me to advise you to steer clear of these sites and look for more lucrative opportunities.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">Wrong! You can make some good money posting articles to these sites, but not in the way they intend!</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">Take a look at the article, </span><a href="http://www.writelink.co.uk/community/mod_articles/article/7089" title="Writing For Money Or Writing For Peanuts"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>Writing For Money Or Writing For Peanuts?</strong></span></a><span style="font-size: small;"> to find out more!</span> </p>
