It was a well-earned break after all the sleepless nights and worries over Emma who, by the way, has started smiling now and is getting more gorgeous by the day. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt;">Before we went away my mojo had upped and left. I couldn&rsquo;t be bothered to write, I wasn&rsquo;t even receiving any new ideas from wherever it is new ideas come from. I wasn&rsquo;t reading, doing anything around the house and my garden has turned into a jungle, which I&rsquo;m rather embarrassed about. (I love my garden)</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt;">Anyway, while we were away a funny thing started to happen. My wife and I found the time to relax. The kids played with the other kids, Emma slept quite peacefully and we were able to just sit and read &ndash; in quiet! </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt;">I took some pictures (about 180 actually) and recaptured my love of photography. The idea has grown and I have plotted a rather gruesome tale that I hope to able to post sometime in the near future. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt;">We arrived home feeling fresh and raring to go. I spent the next day in the garden, keeping my head down so as not to attract any sniping comments about the state of my lawn and overgrown borders while rocking away with Bon Jovi on my I-pod, when Helen came screaming into the garden. Guess what? I had an e:mail! From writelink! My story had won. Still can&rsquo;t. It is my best moment as a writer so far. I&rsquo;ve even started telling people I actually write, and guess what, no one has laughed.
