I revisited my writers circle this morning and I gained some new friends, there is only eight of us in the group.I don't know if I passed on this information already, but it seems that the were voted best for their anthology in the year 2000. They are very proud of this award. I gained quite a lot of information, and in return they gained information from me. First about my membership on the writing community on line. I gave them all the details about Wriitelink. They were also interested in the self published book I have just finished. 'Destination Greece' The girl who chairs the group was an English lecturer in the past. So I know who to go to if I'm struggling with my punctuation. They were also interested in how to obtain an ISBN. I did mine through Wordclay, but I think they are very expensive. I'm not sure if Lulu will be cheaper
.I came away feeling quite proud I didn't realise how much knowledge I had gained, while writing on the net. and writing on the two communities that I write on. So far I'm enjoying the group they are all very friendly.
- Hi Molly, I have had years of pleasure and interest from the writing club world. i've made life-long friends and heard countless speakers. Writing is a lonely business sometimes and getting out to such a group is really useful. Anne
- Going through Lulu you can get an ISBN without charge - but I believe it's only usable on the book that's published on Lulu. Good Luck with the sales. Jeanne
