I looked it up and the norovirus is actually not a single virus but a group of them. Basically a medical term for contagious sickness and diarrhoea. It's in our locl hospital.  So's my husband. I left him there at 7.15 am yesterday to have an operation and haven't seen him since.  They are not letting any visitors in.  They've kept very quiet about it. We knew nothing about it until we got there. Anyway I'v been phoning and they tell me he's doing ok although I haven't spoken to him. He may be able to come home tomorrow. But I feel bereft.
