Freebie time
Hello you lot
How would you like and absolutely free, no string attached read?
It's not often a Yorkshireman will give owt for nowt and if nothing else I am an archetypal Yorkshireman.
However, I have a new novel due out in a month, and in order to publicise not just the title but the series as a whole, I've knocked together a short volume using the same characters from the Sanford 3rd Age Club.
Essentially, it's two short stories cobbled into one short book, but it's there and it's free!!!
If you've nothing better to do while waiting for the snow and ice to thaw, why not disengage brain with a brace of light-hearted cosy crimes in Tales from the STAC Casebook.
It will be available on the Kindle in a day or two, but because of Amazon's restrictions, I can't make it free on there. If you want to download, you can pick your format, including Kindle's mobi, from Smashwords and it'll not cost you a bean.
There are no strings attached, but if you felt the urge to put up a review, don't let me stop you :o)
Enjoy!
- If I'm not mistaken I read them when you blog posted them, and they were terrific little reads
- You're welcome, Jean.
Jeanne, no you don't need a kindle. The point of putting it on Smashwords is to cater for those who use e-readers other than the Kindle. The Nook, iPhones and even pdf's for reading on a computer.
One of the big problems with e-books is everyone automaticaly thinks "Kindle." and although it may be the best know, it's not the only one. There are about 20-30 different readers, and most of them use a different format to the Kindle. Smashwords caters for them all. - Would be delighted, David, but don't have a Kindle. Does this mean I must buy one?
- I have my copy, David. Many thanks.
