Hi  fellow write linkers recently when I self published my books  1 POEMS AND SHORT STORIES Sub Tittle ROSEANN AND THE CHILDREN  BOOK2  tHE COLLECTION  Sub Tittle  IT'S STEAMY OUT THERE. Both books are written for my family because me and my  brother were raised by my Grandmother and because they had no Grand parents or Great Grand parents  the books have family history.Little storys  that a  grandmother would have told her grand  children,etc,ect. Well today I was asked to meet my Aunt, who I call my sister. She was buying one of my books and by chance I put another three into my shopping trolly. I sold all four of them. £8 .50 each to friends. This has gave me a great confidence boost. It wasn't easy to edit and I now understand what Sue is saying when she says don't rely on your word proof reader. I had  American spelling instead of English. It's the only four I have sold because as i said I have written them for my family and gave them free. Next one I may go a step further and sell on Amazone. I think it's very expensive, and thats why I have not done so before. I thought I would share this with you.
