Writelink was formed in 2000 from a collection of Sue Kendrick’s personal writing links. It quickly grew in popularity, developing a strong following and a large circulation newsletter.

The current site is Writelink’s third incarnation and is a fully fledged community. Some call it the writers’ Facebook! As well as the core features of the Arena peer reviewing system, monthly and quarterly writing Challenges for fiction, poetry and articles which pay cash prizes and a huge range of writers resources, Writelinkers has a fully developed community aspect which includes, members personal Blogs, Forums, Video Chat, sophisticated Private Messenger system, Photo albums, Video albums, music and a full range of creative writing ebooks.

These ebooks, collectively known as The Magnificent 7 cover all aspects of creative writing in a workshop format with exercises to complete at the end of each chapter. They are available free to all Writer members of the community and have just been updated to reflect the changing nature of the web.

Membership of Writelinkers is free for Readers, but Writer level which includes access to all features of the site is £15 per annum.
