POST BIRTHDAY DINNER REFLECTIONS
Dinner was excellent!
We had pork chops coated with honey and mustard, potatoes and swede mashed with a little horse raddish sauce, creme fresh and a sprinkling of chopped basil, plus sweet heart cabbage and leeks and peas in a cheesy sauce.
Pudding was home made raspberry pie and more creme fresh. The raspberries originating from ma-in-law's garden.
Everything cooked to perfection! The reason being, I did it!
Nearest and dearest can just about manage a Saturday morning fry up, but even then we have to suffer a kitchen like a bomb site and a stove covered in grease splatters!
