Aaaaaaaarh ... I'm In!

I was praying this wouldn't happen but ...

[More:]

I've just heard that my entry to the London to Brighton cycle ride has been accepted!

Fifty four miles and I've only been out on my bike twice this year!

Fantastic news, Sue, though rather you than me at the moment for obvious reasons! You'll have great fun, I'm sure, just don't overtrain!

Good luck Sue.

For obvious reasons, I won't mention the annual London-Brighton vintage rally :-)

Well Sue, if I can walk/climb 65 kms (which I think is around 50 miles) without too much preparation, then I'm sure you'll manage 54 miles on your bike!
Good luck, start riding & think positive.

Thanks everyone, I'll keep you posted, training starts this week! Marilyn I've got a sort of gel saddle, but I think I could do with something a bit more up to date, it's seven years old now!

Oh, dear, is it wise Sue?
For I have veirly seen that you have become more rotund of late.
Down the road the bike's a wobblin'.
Not to worry. You can practise along side me.
If you can go the pace.
