GIRLS WEEKEND AWAY
Last night BF1, BF2 and me had an impromptu practice for our girls weekend away. Judging from the amount of vino BF1 poured down her neck I'd say we've reached perfection!
Just in case anyone is wondering, this isn't supposed to be a bender, but part of our middle aged wish list for self improvement. We're attempting to learn to sing!
In my saner moments, the thought makes me shudder! Still, I'll put up with anything for a weekend away in luxury surroundings with no off-spring treating the house like a Naafi!
There's always a fly in the ointment though, just had an email from BF2 ordering me to bring shorts and trainers for a quick run around the estate grounds before we start! You don't argue with school teachers!

So was I! Her name was Miss Hough and she used to stand in the middle of the netball court in high heels, muffled in a sheepskin coat with a whistle dangling from her neck. She only blew it twice, once at the end of the lesson and once to make us all troop into the showers. It was the first time I'd ever took my clothes off in public and I loathed her like poison!
