FEET ON FIRE!
I’m not just talking metaphorically here! The last couple of weeks my feet have been red hot!
I'D LIKE TO TEACH THE WORLD TO ...
Well judging by my performance at the Can't Sing ... Will Sing workshop it's not likely to be singing!
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GO AWAY FOR THE WEEKEND?
A million spam emails for start, but in amongst them a few gems such as the one from ...
GIRLS WEEKEND AWAY
Last night BF1, BF2 and me had an impromptu practice for our girls weekend away. Judging from the amount of vino BF1 poured down her neck I'd say we've reached perfection!
Freezing!
Having just spent 9 days in the south of France grilling in the Mediterranean heat I can't believe how cold it is here!
WHERE’S THE FUN IN AI?
AI in case you didn’t know, stands for Artificial Insemination which I seem to have spent most of the week involved in.

Believe me the only ones that seem to get any pleasure out of it are our dogs who were almost besides themselves at getting the chance to round up our cattle not once, but three times this week!
How Many Thatched Cottages Does it Take to Lose and Actor?
I want to SCREEEEEEEEEEEEM!
You could say it has been one of those days, but it's only half over so things might improve!
Tension Building!
It's the second and final rehearsal for our epic murder walk production tonight and everyone is getting jittery!
SAINTS, SINNERS AND CUDDY DUCKS
As a boy he saw angels carrying the soul of a man into Heaven. As a man he healed the sick and restored the minds of the insane. In death he became a saint and six hundred years later he is still remembered in a long distance footpath commemorating the struggles of the early Christian evangelists in what is now the Scottish borders and Northumberland.
Unexpected Success!
Would you believe it? After years of advising people not to expect too much from self publishing fiction, the novel I co-wrote with 13 other authors as part of last year's arts festival has almost sold out its first print run!
What A Night!
Yet another test to see if star rating is working on Happy Blog
Just edited the skin of Happy Blog to add star rating option.
Another test with a story - The Crack in the Moon

She couldn’t remember when the pigs first came into the house and she’d no idea when they’d started wearing clothes,
This time I will try and do it right!
I seem to be suffering from a split personality complex at the moment which isn't helping Rob with his site modifications! Note to self: Admin isn't the same as Sue Kendrick!
Here's a poem I wrote earlier, let's see how much appears on Blog All without me inserting the Read More tag.
THE GRIFFY WELL
Come when the wild winds blow,
when frost blasts naked branch
to shivered splitters of winter angst.
Come then and lay white snow flowers at my feet
and know I do not sleep,
but in the secret places of my heart,
I watch and wait and know we did not part.
Come when the spring corn grows tall,
when poppies bleed in fields of gold
and life is easy and there’s a tale to be told.
Come then and spill ripen seed around my head
and remember that knight so long dead,
that slew the beast and hung it skin at Breedon’s gate,
an offering to a younger god and to this land come late.
Come when the year grows old,
when day and night lie on equal hand
and my dark waters murmur histories of the land.
Come then and scatter berries white and red,
I hear you still, I am not dead.
No Griffin holds my life in thrall,
Just whisper my name, I’ll hear you call.
Testing the Avatar upload
Just testing to see if I've managed to upload my Avatar O.K. I can see Rob's on his posts so looks as if he's managed to modify the skin.
It's a beautiful ... beautiful day!
Well it is in my neck of the woods, literally! I've just come back from riding my horse in the woods. Sunlight and rhododendrons, green shadows and er ... midges, well there's always a fly in the ointment isn't there?
The Children of the Rainbow
You could hear them shouting all over the house. Mostly my mother when I came to think of it. She was crying and begging him to stay. Stupid cow, she ought to have known by now, they never stayed, not with Ham around.
Diamond Hill
Clouds roll in over Diamond Hill,
sun slips into the bay.
Sitting on the ridge of Diamond Hill,
seems like I can see tomorrow.
