Hello, Goodbye, Thank You, Hello
This is a bit of a goodbye and hello post.
It's been a while since I've blogged but now the new writelink blog site is up and running, I'm hoping to get back into blogging there.
So I'm saying goodbye to this blog and a big thank you to all those of you have subscribed. If you wish to subscribe to my new blog (please do), then you can find me on writelink at: http://www.writelink.co.uk/community/blogs/posts/sarah_james or on wordpress at: http://sarahjameswrites.wordpress.com/

Poetry and Public Transport!
It's been a while since I've blogged but my poetry publication and successes have been a bit like buses – none and then they all come along at the same time!
Not a second too late!
My poetry seems to have sprung to life just in time for Easter with some good news today.
Spellings, spam and poetry reading!
It's the night before school and all is chaos in the house, my first son is learning his spellings for a test, his young brother is squeaking much louder than a mouse! My email spam box is near full to the brim, with junk notes that offer all kinds of bare sin...
Silence is golden – or goading!
Silence may be as important as sound in poems but it is less invigorating when one is waiting to hear back on submissions and competitions... as no news often tends to be bad news!
Then or when – my son's lessons in language!
I ran my first poetry workshop at my son's primary school last week and it's hard to say who learned most – me or the five and six year olds!
My reputation precedes me!
As a frequent swimmer and gym user, I'm well known at my local leisure centre. Many of the staff know me by name, though apparently not all. I'm still trying to work out whether to feel flattered or offended by what happened earlier today...
Professional help needed - or chaos rules ok!
Question: What do you do when your poetry collection just refuses to come together?
Answer: If you're me, anything to avoid dealing with the chaos captured in the photo below!
