Two days to go...

There are just two days to go until Legend Press's official launch of the new edition of Remarkable Everyday containing my short story Monday. And to prove I will do almost anything to get publicity for it, I have been doing just that...almost anything.

[More:]

I don't expect it to generate great sales but as wacky marketing goes, my latest efforts must top the charts! Followers of my blog will know I love playing at photography. They may also have noticed my tendency to try and tie writing in to the photo contests I enter.

At the moment, Worcestershire libraries are running a photo competition to celebrate the National Year of Reading (a fantastic initiative, though I think one year is too limiting). Reading Escapes challenges readers to take a photo of themselves, their families or their friends reading somewhere and send it in with a short description of why they love to read. Needless to say, I couldn't resist.

My first entry features, surprise, surprise, a poem! My second features a photo, rather like the one below, of my family reading - yes, you've guessed it, Remarkable Everyday! well, I did tell you it was wacky, but wish me luck even so!
