Exhausted!

I am exhausted today: not so much from 90 lengths of the pool, more from the poetry collection I've been reading!

[More:]

I've been enjoying The Restored Edition of Sylvia Plath's Ariel as part of the Poetry School Online's course Towards a Collection by Pascale Petit. I have read Plath before, of course, but not so many of her very intense poems alone in such a short space of time. It is brilliant stuff, of course, but not undemanding!

By way of light relaxation, I've also taken the plunge and signed up to MySpace.com. If you're on MySpace and want to add me to your friends' list, I'm over at http://www.myspace.com/sarah_james_writes . And I've been blogging today over at Legend Press's Legendary Authors about my experiences of How not to write!

Have fun!

I should think you are exhausted Sarah, it makes my brain ache just thinking about it!

LOL!
And today I've been helping out in year two again this morning and off to the pool in a little while. I actually think trying to answer all the children's questions etc is more exhausting than the exercise! All good fun though, the three hours speed by faster than my hour swimming.

Good on you Sarah! Keep those brain cells busy... :)

Haven't been swimming in 10 years (sob sob). Other half doesn't like it and I find it boring on my own. Maybe one day!

I find swimming good thinking time, but only if I've something that needs thinking about! It can be a bit monotonous in this country, at least. Now open air swimming in the sun...
