My blogging big mouth!

Well, it serves me right for opening my mouth! No sooner have I blogged here about only posting twice a week than I've been invited to blog by Legend Press on the company's Legendary Authors Group website.

[More:]

My short story Monday was published in the company's first short story anthology Seven Days and I will be blogging alongside other Legend Press novelists and short story writers. I'm not sure how often I will be posting there, but I intend to use different stuff to this blog and will probably restrict it to comments about writing in general (Legend Press don't publish poetry) or a writer's life anecdotes. I've just posted my first entry When was your first time? and have another piece Are all writers selfish? ready to post soon. So why don't you check it out here.

It might be blogging again, Sarah, but then it is a little different in that you've been noticed and therefore promoted, which is a good thing and definitly deserved. I've had a look and you must be thrilled and excited to have been invited to contribute - wherever will you end up next - don't ask, just keep doing what you do best.

Thanks Marilyn,
I'm not sure about being noticed and therefore promoted, I don't think it's as glamorous as that. All Legend Press authors have been invited to take part. I believe they emailed me initially about the general idea a while back but I forgot all about it. Then when I emailed about something else I was invited again, ironically just after commenting on only blogging twice a week. I was pleased to discover that my Legend Press bio has a link to my blog here though.:-)

Don't knock it, that's often how things happen. Grab every opportunity that's offered Sarah, you never know where they might lead next. Good luck with it - and I suspect we can all relate to the cringe factor when reading our early writing efforts. I know I can!

Those famous last words, eh? I've had a look and a read - very impressive! You are getting yourself and your work noticed, which is what it's all about. :-)

Thanks guys,
Not sure I'm getting my work noticed so much as my inability to stop writing about anything and everything!
:-)
