Webs of Wonder

Another writelink Yule Sing Me One Song entry: whatever our race or religion, there is one thing we can all have faith in this Christmas.

[More:]

Webs of Wonder

Outside our window, webs of frost
Make patterned lace across the glass.
The garden's green will soon be lost
As snow now shawls the leaves and grass.

Inside too, tinsel webs and lights
climb snowflakes up the Christmas tree
to starry bright or angel heights
that shine with joy for you and me.

Now wonder weaves round children's smiles.
We hear their love and laughter sing
As Christmas dawns in many styles
Across the world we all live in.

We all should take this chance to shake
Our cobwebs free, forget the strain,
Let fears melt, festive spirit wake,
And find our faith in love again.
