I spoke too soon!

Yes, I did tempt tempt fate by blogging about my son being a sheep (not a train, thank goodnesss) in his school nativity play!

[More:]

As of today, my son is apparently now a narrator, as another little boy has changed his mind about doing it! The good news is his costume is simply party clothes, relatively easy to supply. The bad news is we (yes, we) have the weekend to get his lines learned!

Actually to be strictly fair, he only has two sentences, not too difficult, even for a four year old, though whether he'll actually say them on the day is a different matter.

Of course, originally before he was a sheep, he was going to be a clown, so I am still wodering if by the end of next week he will be a train, after all!

Good ones I hope. I hav eto say I now understand why parents get so little notice of what costume they need to make - because the kids keep changing their minds!
Fingers crossed Jamie seems to have learned his lines and is keen to play his part, probably helped by the fact that he can wear normal clothes instead of a costume!
