This is impressive - and a testament to the much repeated but little heeded truth that it takes a lot of planning and a lot of persistence to build a reputation as a writer.

Thanks Kay. It is nice sometimes to see a list of what one's achieved, particularly as rejection often seems such a common part of writing life.

I've read all the posts up to here (but couldn't comment on each one individually) and have developed a healthy respect for both the quantity and quality of your writing.

Your style and voice are both appealing and thought-provoking and I admire the sheer energy it has taken - over and above the effort it takes to run a family - to have produced this volume of work.

I can only envy you and wish I had that much dedication. Well done Sarah, and thanks.

Thank you Lez. I'm glad you've enjoyed them. The writing world is full of rejections, disappointments and blood-sweating hard work, so it is so encouraging to receive positive feedback. Thank you. :-)

Oh Sarah, Just been all through your writing and listened to 'Conception'. You are an amazing woman. I know all those thoughts and feelings and jotted notes about them years ago, my eldest is now 38, but you have captured them so brilliantly. Your CV is very impressive... how do you do that? I have a great enemy, procrastination! Congratulations on everything you have achieved so far and good luck for the future. You are an inspiration to us all.

Thank you JM. You are very kind and it is great to hear when people have enjoyed Conception. I'm not so sure about 'amazing'. I suspect b*****-mindedness and the refusal to give up may have more to do with it!

This is very impressive, Sarah. you are a model for us all - not only your superb work, but the layout, marketing and everything. You encourage us all to get everything laid out neatly (actually my CV will take about 5 lines and 5 minutes!) Well done.

Thanks Paola,
I learned the hard way that keeping a CV continuously updated is much easier than leaving it for years and then try to remmeber what I'd done in that time! It's a great confidence booster too to be able to sit and look at a list of the things I have managed to do after receiving the nth rejection letter of the week!
Looking at the quality and volume of things you've written on your blog I am a little dubious about your five lines and five minutes! I would have expected the truth to be nearer at least five hours and a great difficulty in pinning it down to 500 words!

Not sure how I got here today (was looking for your hallowe'en piece) but glad I did as it made for a very interesting and extremely impressive read.

I'm thrilled to know that all your hard work has paid off.

By the way I shall be using your CV as a template for one on my blog as it seems perfect - wish mine were as long!

Thank you (is it Jill/Gill?)
I bet your CV will be longer than you think when you sit down and remember everything you have to go on it.
The reason it took you here is that this is my default blog. The Halloween piece has a future publication date (for Oct 31) but at the moment notifications appear to go out to subscribers when the post is first saved as published! The proper thing with pictures should be viewable through the subscribers link (or directly on my blog) on Oct 31.

Hi Josie,
Is anything happening with yourkindatv these days? It seemed to die a death. I enjoyed your excellent pieces though.
I filled in my questionnaire but I didn't know Legend Press had put up a link to my blog, so thanks for letting me know. It's great news and Legend Press seems to be doing well too.. Smiley faces all round I reckon. :-)
