Jealous partners!

I've just discovered my husband is jealous of the affair I'm having with...

[More:]

Okay, so I am talking about my computer, not a man! (Well, if you want that kind of juicy story go and buy a magazine like Chat!)

Of course, my first thought was how ridiculous! But, to be honest, he does have a point. I do spend a lot of time at the keyboard, on the internet or wordprocessing. But the biggest irony of all, is that he works in IT. And yes, before anyone asks, I too am jealous of the amount of time he spends on computers, or in meetings talking about them!

So what are we going to do about? What all grown-up mature couples do - argue about it until we finally get fed up with rowing and deal with it!

Before computers, it was the TV that stole away the art of conversation - so they say. Now it seems that it is better companionship to sit and watch the telly together, but I'd rather my laptop and my writing any day. I think (hope!) my husband has got used to it by now.
The worst thing, as far as he is concerned, is that I might forget to take my turn making a cuppa in the evening. But a heavy sigh usually does it. I either get up and make him one, or let him make me one. lol Hope the sun is shining in your household again!

The latest hint of jealousy I got with respect to my lovely computer is when my hubby said the other day how much the electricity bill had shot up! And to think I never complain about his affair with the telly!
