Funny hee-hee!
My elder son came home from kindergarten with his second joke today. What did one dinner plate say to the other dinner plate?
Answer: dinner's on me! Okay, so it's not the best joke I've ever heard. But the funniest thing is my four year old doesn't even get why it's a joke. He just laughs cos he's pleased we're laughing. Bless him!
It's been a good day for writing, and a bad one. I have been working on my writers' bureau poetry assignment feedback and also on some pieces for the writelink short and sweet poetry comp. I was very pleased with how it all went today, it really felt like I'd achieved something.
However, it took a lot longer than I expected, so I wasn't able to read as much as I'd hoped.![]()
Still, I managed to check out some of the other short and sweet entries. It's great to see so many poems entered. (I'm glad I'm not the judge though, even if it is a low word count!)
I've also had an email asking for more television opinion pieces - the trouble is I'm all out of opinions, except that more sleep, energy and time would be nice! I suspect the answer to that conundrum though is even less funny than my son's joke ie dream on!
