Just a copy of what I finally managed to post on the new site; more a problem of mine than the site's, I suspect.

A newsletter that I regularly receive had an interesting snippet in it yesterday about a new travel website that pays its contributers by the viewing, and encourages ordinary mortals to contribute. Find it here - http://www.simonseeks.com - it could be lucrative. It doesn't have to be some exotic location. Try and persuade people to visit your home town - yes, Oldham! - you never know. This is something i posted on the main site some months ago, left for a while and then tried to incorporate some comments. Have I succeeded? I'm trying to post this on the new site as well, but so far I have failed miserably.

We’ve just been to another funeral, one of Helen’s aunts this time, she was ninety three and one of my late father-in-law’s six sisters, there were also two other brothers, all now gone, but for Iris, Helen’s last aunt who we keep an eye on. These funerals are becoming more frequent, it’s an age thing!

So today was a real pleasure, uplifting even.
