Looking Forward

Author: mater (add to friends)

Happy New Year to everyone - and may this be a successful year for writing and for publishing!

[More:]

Perhaps we should write the future that we would like to see - looking at the positive and trying to ignore the negative. It's worth a try. Difficult when you're writing 'in the past' though, as I am with a couple of my manuscripts. But then, perhaps not... I might make myself a little exercise to undertake if the news of the failing economy makes for pessimistic thoughts, though.
Now, should I win the lottery? Nah, I can't see me enjoying too much of a 'good life' - but a publishing deal would be good. Just one draw-back (should that dream come true): the book signings. Perhaps I should write myself a future free of arthritis - but then how would I complete my manuscript 'Rheumatically Challenged'? Everything has its positive side. Or perhaps, almost everything...

I wrote the above bit on another blog, too, so had it saved, but everything else that I wrote here earlier, got deleted when I forgot that clicking 'Preview' results in losing my Internet connection whenever I do it.
Then I had three sets of visitors and it has all gone out of the window - or at least my head. Oh well, perhaps another day.
I hope you all enjoyed the New Year Celebrations!
