I hope everything goes very well, Marit. One of these days you'll be playing 'Hands, knees and boomps a-daisy!' Do you remember that activity song?
Sorry to hear about your rheumatism,I'm surprised you manage to keep so cheerful as you must be in quite a bit of pain. I admire your strength and determination not to let it stand in your way. I hope that it all gets sorted out soon with good results.

Hope it doesn't take too much longer Marit as you must indeed be in great pain. You're are an amazing lady who never ceases to amaze us all with your sense of humour - ceaseless strength and determination. And now, to top it all you've taken to inspiring us with yet more ideas and inspiration as demonstrated with your exciting new site.

Hi Marit,
What great strength of spirit you have. I hope it all goes well and you're really dealing with it as well as you seem. You have my full admiration and I hope the docs come up with some useful and as speedy as possible.

I still get the kids to do the Hands, Knees and Boomps-a-Daisy, Patricia.
Thank you everyone for your good wishes.
My hands are all splinted up as I write, and these new ones, adapted to be close to what I had in mind, are making the typing much easier. Someone got there before me, though, so I can't patent the design, but there you go. I've had lots of good ideas over the years, but some inventor or other always beats me to it. :-D
Now, with news of grandchild number eight being on the way ( and number seven due in October), I'm working on something that will make cuddling the babies easier on the shoulders and arms. 'Cause nanny likes lots of cuddles!

Hi Marit, I've been out of action for a while and have lost touch with the posts. I've just seen this.
I'm sending you lots of virtual hugs and good wishes.

All the best Marit. You must be blessed with incredible guts and determination as well as good humour to keep on typing through such awful pain. Well done on all you do & may the surgery be successful, when it happens.
