The ABC Checklist for New Writers is available from Amazon and at more than 150 Waterstone’s Branches across the UK. We have had brilliant reviews from Simon Whaley, Writing Magazine and many others, including Sue Kendrick and David Robinson, all of which which can be read here. If you want to know what subjects the book covers then go to the contents page on my website.

A fantastic contents page, it looks pretty extensive.
Have you thought about writing an article for the new writer which would link back to your book? (I'm not sure how it works at the new writer, in terms of who you'd contact etc, but they seem to run pieces like that, factual articles which writers have written to coincide with book launches. Legend Press did one recently and Kay had a piece in my last copy.)

Thanks Sarah. I'll look at The New Writer. We have some great coverage coming up in Writing Magazine and Writers' Forum, so we need to be careful not to step on any toes, but it's certainly one to approach.

I've got the book and found it useful straight away. I can highly recommend it! A must-have for the bookshelf of any writer. I purchased a second copy, too - as I'm loathe to loan out my copy to my writer daughter (well, I might need it!)- so that's her 'Christmas stocking'.
Seriously though, I don't mind lending out my books, but thought that she ought to have her own. :-)

Thanks for the positive review. I'm glad to hear you are finding it useful. When we came to write it Maureen and I wrote down everything we could think of that we wished had been in one book when we started out - and then kept adding to the list as we went along. To be honest, I'm using one of my author copies as a reference myself. It's amazing the odd things you forget and need to look up.
