Hi,

At http://www.creativepaw.org/ you can sign up and wait for an assignment from animal welfare organisations in the US. Don't know if you'll get any work, as just signed up myself, but it could be a good way to do some good and get some experience at the same time.

Another fun one I often use is http://www.freerice.com/index.php
You guess the meaning of a word out of four choices, and every time you get it right they donate 20 grains of rice through the UN. I usually do it until I get up to 500.
