Day 1 - I did it!
Author: janfeighner (add to friends)Good Day to You! I have finally decided to try blogging. Well, having received HD T.V. last Christmas and in the span of this last month purchased High-Speed Internet AND a new phone with built-in caller I.D. and answering machine, I'm unstoppable! I think a new hair dryer is next... one that doesn't look like John Wayne used it in his last film like I have now; I want a NEW one with all the attachments, bells, whistles, and such. I don't know what I'll do with it all, but I know I want it! Only time will tell...
Please be patient...

Samples of your work ... sure, where else would you find it. But, keep it short to start. It's like soup ... first a few sips to find out if its tempid, then a few more to find out how good it is.
As for books. I just spent a week taking former Hollywood producer, Phillip W. Hoffman around on a tour booksigning of "Simon Girty Turncoat Hero." It was great and I learned a lot about authors, publicists and book signing.
As for my book on Col. William Crawford's expedition against Sandusky, I've been researching for 55 years and writing since 1985. It ain't done. But, this publisher wants the book and I suspect I'll spend the next two years writing it.

Looks good kiddo. I would put exerpts from your book only. Guess I'm just a little leery of putting too much of something that valuable out there until it's published. Cool site tho. Think the idea is great. All kinds of friends a click away.
