Coins and cans were thoughtfully
displayed on the track.

Research a Chinese
island full of pianos.
It is Gulangyu.
Tues 3 Mar
I reply to a
CC request and get an
immediate sale.
Wed 4 Mar
Received a task from
blogsvertise for the first time.
My oven blew up!
Thur 5 Mar
Book an engineer
visit, but will need patience.
Work for blogsvertise.
Fri 6 Mar
Visit library
and Waitrose, then up the road
to get my hair cut.
Sat 7 Mar
Family visit.
Four generations were here.
Got the oven fixed.

Submit Gulangyu
piece for CC customer.
Write for Writelink blog.
Mon 9 Mar
Fraudulent sales at
CC. How disappointing.
But work continues.
Tues 10 Mar
Start holiday lists
and do lots of admin work.
Counting down the days.

Tidy the garden.
The difference a day makes
is quite staggering.

Clothing decluttered.
Now I can sort the packing
while dealing with spam.

House viewing at ten
but no interest is shown
so I go shopping.

daffodils in my garden.

Luxor is hot and
so noisy. Why did we choose

On George’s birthday

Restaurant haven
means we can eat away from
the sudden sandstorm.

Karnak is biggest
of all the temples, and where
pharoah gods once ruled.

White birds sitting on
the Nile float upstream till the
flock lifts to fly back.
Shopping for children,
find expensive silver bangle
cheaper than UK.

at Medinat Habu – most

Tiny, little birds,

See the plantation.
Cruise ships manoeuvre
awkwardly across the Nile.

Tented enclosure
is where we eat Egyptian
food beside the Nile.

Riding on camels
alongside the river, through
wheat and sugar cane.

Have a final dip
in the hotel’s swimming pool
