2009 Starts on a High

Author: jak (add to friends)

I'm walking on air.

Yesterday I reported in my blogspot blog that I had woken up to my first sale at Constant Content for a couple of months, of an article that I'd only showcased last Friday.

Today

[More:]

I had two more sales. Well one and a half so far. The first is done and dusted - that was an article that's been sitting around on the site for several months. For the second, I have accepted an offer of a price that was a little below what I had asked for full rights.

That was for something I thought up yesterday morning while I was exercising to Rosemary Conley, bless her. it didn't need research. I wrote it before lunch, edited and submitted it after lunch, and received notification that it had it passed review and was showcased today. I thought no more of it as I was on to the next one, but next time I opened my email, there was the offer.

Whoopee!

Great start to 2009. May it be the first of many. Funny how things seem to come along like buses - shouldn't it be three?

Cheers everyone.

Hearing of sales certainly gets the writing juices flowing. I've submitted 2 more original articles this week so far, plus two revisions of pieces that I've brought up to date.

Thanks everyone. I'm up to a total of seven this month so far. Must have been doing something right for a change. (The last three were all about China again.)
