Sadly the news was of a wedding party in Afghanistan blasted from an American air strike, with around 37 people killed. They didn't mention whether the bride and groom escaped, but what a way to start your married life. Obama intends, they say, to send more ground troops there, which will reduce the need for these air attacks. I suppose we can but hope.
