Desk Top Stress Buster

Author: jak (add to friends)

What do you have set as your desk top? My sister has lots of images that change every few seconds. I used to have the one with lots of fish swimming around. But I changed it to this.

That's me floating in the centre of the pool, so I am always reminded of the heavenly feeling of relaxation on returning to our holiday apartment after a heavy day's sightseeing, getting into my cozzie, and just sinking into the blissful cool water.

You describe the feeling so well, Jean.
I change my desktop background frequently - at the moment it's a landscape from our holiday in Skye - gorgeous blue sky, the Old Man of Storr rising to the left, and my husband, a blue speck walking over the hills on the right. Oh for that sunshine!

My desk top is a photograph of Langdale Pikes in the Lake District. I took it last year on a beautiful autumn day. Glad you found some summer!

I've kept one of the pictures that was on the computer when I bought it - a bamboo forest. It's supposed to remind me that I want to go to China one day so I must stop daydreaming and get writing!

I have a photo of my cat, in a typical indolent-yet-appealing feline pose, but as she's been giving me the green-eyed stare for a while I suspect it's time for a change.
