Round and round to find our car
Spoiled the enjoyment.

and Roman Basilica.
Miles of golden sand.

Sun 3 Aug

Hospital visit
with nasty, sore, foot blisters.
Can wear just flip flops.

Mon 4 Aug

Es Grau – pretty bay,
Then to Albufeira lake
And mighty Sa Mola.

Tues 5 Aug

Calescovas is
nudist beach with coffin caves.
Somni show that night.

Wed 6 Aug

Drive to the far north
stopping at El Toro, then
on to quaint Fornells.

Thur 7 Aug

Car goes back, so we
laze at the beach, and see some
tiny Spanish twins.

Fri 8 Aug

Bus to Mahon shops
for present buying frenzy.
Then the pool is bliss.

Sat 9 Aug

Walk the beach footpaths.
So much to do in the sea
Climb 196 steps.

Sun 10 Aug

Last swim in the sea
and final one in the pool.
Pack for tomorrow.

Mon 11 Aug

Flying home again.
Walk into nanny party
and collect our car.

Tues 12 Aug

Grand Met sold a book.
Try to get back in routine
In cold, cold Blighty.

Wed 13 Aug

Amazon email.
Yet another book is sold.
Catching up is hard.

Thur 14 Aug

Birthday lunch with son
puts off catching up again.
Great view of the Vale.

Fri 15 Aug

Upload all my pics
while fridge/freezer defrosting.
Water ev’rywhere.

Sat 16 Aug

Paid for Writelink piece
in the Writer’s Roundabout.
Still doing laundry.

Sun 17 Aug

Visit Jo’s new pub
in the quaint old village of
Norton St Philip

Mon 18 Aug

Dream of dancing horse.
Can I capture the magic,
tapping my keyboard?

Tue 19 Aug

Curtains of rain fall.
Puddles in Waitrose car park
will soon be a lake.

Wed 20 Aug

Submit interview
on the Writers Manual.
Will they accept it?

Thur 21 Aug

Write about horses
in Menorca. Hubby to
hospital again.

Fri 22 Aug

Proof Dancing Horses
and submit to CC, then
work on our accounts.

Sat 23 Aug

Accounts are ready
to send when PO opens.
Weight off my shoulders.

Sun 24 Aug

Sort accounts for Jules.
Pre-posting in my two blogs.
Print photos to take.

Mon 25 Aug

to work with Jules on accounts
and watch Atonement.

Too cold for the beach.

A real sense of contrast between the beginning of the month when you were on holiday, and the grim rainy reality of home. Great reading & well done on your writing success.

Another very busy month! Hope you and your hubby are both well now health-wise.
Particularly love 5 Aug: "nudist beach with coffin caves". I love the sounds and the image just has my mind working overtime!
