Feel lucky today.

Cancer catching hold.

Independence Day.
Rise to the US challenge:
write about New York.

Sat 5 Jul

Year end accounts work.
Will I ever get it done?
Three sets is not fair.

Sun 6 Jul

Bathroom DIY
then much cleaning up to do.
Need an early night.

Mon 7 Jul

Rain pelts down outside
as my computer tells me
I have six more sales.

Tues 8 July

There is hell to pay.
Someone broke G’s wing mirror
while we slept last night.

Wed 9 Jul

Drive to Shaftesbury
and splash through Tesco’s car park
in relentless rain.

Thur 10 Jul

Procrastination
forced on me by the needs
of unhappy son.

Fri 11 Jul

System problems are
partially resolved by an
antispyware thing.

Sat 12 Jul

Eryn had her face
painted like a butterfly
at the festival.

Sun 13 Jul

Sat out in the sun
and watched the little airplanes
buzzing in and out.

Mon 14 Jul

Procrastination
must stop now that I can
get back in my blog.

Tues 15 Jul

I discover the
oldest blogger in the world
after she died.

Wed 16 Jul

Beauty salon pain
as brilliant sunshine warms the
streets of my home town.

Thur 17 Jul

Attention given
in my front garden;
I bag lots of weeds.

Fri 18 Jul

I bite the bullet
with European Journal
and send my queries.

Sat 19 Jul

Clean all through the house
then get prone on the settee
to watch The Red Shoes.

Sun 20 Jul

Holiday clothes must
be bought for hubby, so we
trek off to Yeovil.

Mon 21 Jul

CC rejection.
I had doubts but sent it in.
Should trust myself more.

Tues 22 Jul

A happy event,
something to celebrate:
a new great-nephew.

Wed 23 Jul

More hassle. This time with
PayPerPost. Why can’t I
meet their requirements?

Thur 24 July

A new great-grandson
born today, and I hold his
tiny form with joy.

Fri 25 July

Holiday shopping
at Clerks Village all alone.
No more work this month.

A call re the house.
Sods law – someone wants to see
it on Monday night.

Sun 27 July

London draws nearer.
First leg of our long journey
to our dream island.

Mon 28 July

In the early hours
we fly off to warmer climes
and find sticky heat.

Tues 29 July

Visit a cool cave
high in the cliffs, a disco
venue at night-time.

Wed 30 July

Bus to capital Mahon.
Very hot walking around.
Hotel pool beckons.

Thur 31 July

In our hire car, we
venture off to explore a
tallayot, then swim.

Again so clever. What a lot you pack into your monthly Haikus, Jak. July was very special with two new tiny babies.

It's amazing how much you manage to relate about your day in so few words. Great to read.
