friend error

I received an email that gregmcqueen wants to be my friend.

When I tried to accept the request I got this error message:

An unexpected error has occured!

If this error persits, please report it to the administrator.

Additional information about this error:
No blog is selected!

I’ve had that a time or two, Jean. I find the simplest way to add a friend is to click on the “add as a friend” link in a would-be friend’s post. I don’t know whether that was the approach Greg took.

I have a permanent error message on my Friends page. Not all my friends show on this page. I can tell who is by the (Remove from Friends) that appears on blogs they post and by the list of emails that appear on the 'ping' page when I post to my blog.

I get those errors too and, like Bob, have a permanent error message on my Friends page and not all of my friends show up on the page.

I thought the difficulty I was having was because the friend requests go to an email account that opens in Internet Explorer but I can't log in from IE.

Right. Thanks for replies folks. Mo, it can't be anything to do with IE as I'm using Firefox all the time. greg, when I checked your blog just now, I find that you are my friend although you are not listed on my friends page. Hi, new friend.

PS If the programmer can't fix the error, might want to remove the typos from the error message that I copied and pasted.

Got the same error! Just guessing, but I think the problem is to do with a limit of friends being displayed on a page. In other words there is not enough room to display them all.

I'll email our programmer. If I'm right, the friends feature is working O.K. but we just can't see them all.
