If you are sure that your Username and password is correct run this presentation to find out how you can remove your personal data and clear your computer of outdated pages.

Hi Sue

This is excellent, but slow to load, and when it finished, it went straight back to the beginning, with no apparent way back other than clicking the back button or closing Firefox altogether.

I'm sure it will be very helpful. I've often seen advice to clear internet data settings but didn't know how to do it.

But there is a typo on the first screen - date instead of data.

Thanks both! I'll see if I can make it a smaller file and correct the typo. Don't want to do too much at the moment as I'll have to make them all again when we get our new home page skin.

Great... With much help from a friend, I now have a blog.
BLANK!
It looks good, pretty clouds. But I would love to actually erite something.
I am ancient and lost in the twenty first century.
I DO know my password. But where do I go to put anything on my blog?
Please don't make the obvious suggestion.
Thanks if you can help.

Anthony you must be logged in to write to your blog. I can see from the comment that you posted that you are on the site as a visitor.

The Login box is under Manage My Account on the right hand side. Pull the scroll bar down until you find it.

Click the Login link. You will be asked if you want Login to the Back Office. Click this and you will then be able to post to your blog.

I haven't been able to post for ages.
The site won't allow me to log in, even though I saved my login and password. I keep getting the wrong login/password message.

I tried the login procedure presentation thingy but had the same experience as davidr and kept going round in circles. It's Groundhog Day here and I'm also listed as a visitor, rather than a member - probably because I can't log in!

Mary we had a member with a similar problem and the only way it was cured is by deleting your stored passwords and emptying your cache. The presentation will tell you how to do that, but if you don't want to watch it again, click the Tools button and the Options at the top of the browser window.

Hi Sue,

Did all that before but still haven't been able to log on properly lately. It works fine at the work pc but not on the Macbook (Firefox).

I've emptied the cache, got the right password, etc, and still it keeps me out. Funny thing is that sometimes it works. And then a few days later it doesn't again.

I'm confused...

Thanks for your help! :)
Steph (definitely not a visitor!)

Steph this is definitely a problem with your cache/passwords.

It sounds as if your Macbook is storing a wrong password. This happened to me. Go to Tools/Clear Private Data

You will be presented with a list of options. Make sure that your cache & saved passwords boxes are ticked.

Shut your machine down, reboot and try to login.
