If you are sure that your Username & password are correct your login problems are almost certainly due to your computer cache storing errors or pages that have been moved to a new location. Here's how to solve the problem.

HOW TO CLEAR & ADD COOKIES
The Writelink sites login depends upon writing a Cookie to the users computer so you must ensure your system has been set to allow Cookies.
INTERNET EXPLORER – Allow Cookies
From the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
From the Internet Properties dialog box, on the Privacy tab, click Advanced.
From the Advanced Privacy Settings dialog box, click to select Override automatic cookie handling.
Under First-party Cookies and Third-party Cookies, click to select Accept.
Click to select Always allow session cookies.
Click OK.
NB: If you don’t want to interfere with your existing settings just add www.writelink.co.uk & www.writelink.co.uk/blogs to your list of allowed sites by doing the following:
INTERNET EXPLORER – Adding Writelink to allowed Cookies
From the Tools menu, click Internet Options
Click the Privacy tab
Click the Sites button
Type in the above web addresses and click the Allow button.
FIREFOX – Allow Cookies
Go to Tools/Options
Make sure that the Allow Cookies box is ticked.
Click the Exceptions box.
If Writelink appears in this list, TAKE IT OUT!
FIREFOX - Adding Writelink to allowed Cookies
From the Tools menu, click Options
Look for Cookies, this should be checked.
Click the Exceptions box
Type in www.writelink.co.uk
Click the Allow box
Repeat for www.writelink.co.uk/blogs
Comments, Pingbacks:
I have login problems of a different kind - I appear on the list as logged in but I'm not. When I try to log in, I can't get into back office or on here.
I don't understand why I appear as logged in when the system wants me to log in, and doesn't let me.
Tried the cache clearing thing but that didn't work either.
Any ideas at all?
Thanks alot!
Steph
I'll try that tonight. Strangely enough, I could log in here at work or on my other half's laptop.
On mine it just showed me as logged in when in fact I wasn't. Not a clue... :(
Will see if refreshing the page will work.
Thanks,
Steph
Thanks for checking this out, Sue :)
