A national month to celebrate pets and encourage people to get involved and raise valuable funds.
National Pet Month, which is supported by Iams and Eukanuba, seeks to promote responsible pet ownership and calls out to the public to raise funds for local animal charities, by organising their own pet related events. There are all types of fun-filled pet events that the public can get stuck into, ranging from pet pampering days through to sponsored dog fun runs.
The range of events is huge and can include dog and cat shows, dogathons, bazaars, parades, sponsored walks, raffles, dances, veterinary practice open days and roadshows.
