Great pic. Those balconies look just like some we saw in Madeira. Not such a colourful street though.

Very interesting picture. I wonder what the history of a Jewish presence in Montevideo is actually. I love old Jewish quarters and visited the one in Krakow, Poland a couple of years ago: once a bustling, thriving place. Now, because of you know what in the 1940s, almost a ghost town.
