Trevor's The Star

I took the liberty today of reading Trevor's poem 'At My Expense' to Yarm Writers Group.

The topic for the day was 'Moral or Amoral' so Trevor's take on MPs' expenses was particularly apt. Thanks, Trevor.

I was told I should get it published but I'll have to leave that to you.

It's being published in The Pages, out soon, Bob - but after that I think he could earn money in a printed magazine on that one!

I can't log in here, hence the no-member status.

Thanks folks. If I knew where to send it I would. LOL.
Glad everyone enjoyed it anyway. :)

edit, I've sent it off to First Edition magazine. Waiting on a response. If negative I'll look at the options. Not sure what they are though as Private Eye and The Oldie keep telling me they like my stuff but it's not right for them. :(
might give it one more go after I hear from First Edition.
Thanks again Bob and Merit.
I have no spare time for writing at the moment. No one want's their PC repairing, I've gone from 4 jobs a day 2 years ago to 2 jobs a week now. It doesn't even pay the food bill. So I'm out doing some parcel deliveries every day. The rate per parcel is woeful and I'm having to pay my own tax, petrol etc, but at least it's something.I always thought that having a City and Guilds Diploma in PC repair and maintenance might mean I didn't go through times like this, but it doesn't.
