Ducks and Drakes
I expect most of us have played ducks and drakes at one time and another. How about two drakes and a duck?
As a result of all the rain we have had over recent months a large puddle has formed in the corner of a field ploughed last autumn. Earlier this week a duck and a drake appeared to have taken up residence. Today I had a camera with me and I managed to get a picture of two drakes and a duck. In the process however of sinking into the mud so that one shoe was stuck I disturbed them on their 'pond.'
So my picture shows the duck being escorted to safety by the drakes. Well I think that's what they were trying to do.
