100 Words Clear a Writer's Block

Last month I registered with a new website. It has cleared my writers block.

[More:]

On www.100words.com you are required to write 100 words a day, each day of the month. It has to be 100 words and you are on your honour not to cheat - no writing in advance and if you forget one day you post your words as soon as you can.

I stuck to the rules in June and became one of c20 members who completed for the month. When you do this anyone can log on and follow the links from Read and see what people have written.

What I wrote may have been mundane. However it kept me writing something each day.

Perhaps they encourage newcomers as my entry for 16 June is featured on the front page.

Congratulations - and what a good idea. I don't get serious blocks any more either, since I set myself a blogging schedule to write in one of my two blogs on every weekday. I might crack with another 100 words though.

Congratulations from me, too. The site looks great and so does the idea!
I do National Novel Writing Month (in November) - having to produce 50.000 words during that month. But of course, I only do it once a year!
