SPRING FEVER POETRY CONTEST
Spring is just around the corner, well perhaps it’s still a few bends away, but to help it along our annual Spring Fever poetry competition has been revamped and will definitely cheer you up during these last dismal days of winter!

LIT TRIPS – Latest Arena Contest
Our latest Arena competition is a great opportunity for arm chair travellers! We’re looking for literary journeys of up to 300 words. Your journey can be anything from a Shakespearean walk around Stratford to a leisurely drift down the Mississippi in the wake of Tom and Huck!

PITS & CRYPTS – Latest Arena Poetry contest
Two hundred years ago this January, Edgar Allan Poe, maestro of the macabre, was born to a couple of impoverished actors. In spite of this inauspicious start or perhaps because of it, he went on to write a whole raft of chilling horror stories and poems which still hold the power to terrify readers and inspire erstwhile horror writers.
To celebrate his penchant for unholy terror, our Arena contest this month calls for a 12 line horror poem either set in a crypt or featuring the denizens of the underworld!

SOMETHING TO SING ABOUT – PIPPIN WINS YULE SING ME ONE SONG
Our annual festive song writing contest produced a fine crop of entries which caused our judge, musician and song writer, Julie Holland a lot of head scratching as the quality was so high.
