NATIONAL POETRY DAY
Has everyone forgotten it’s National Poetry Day today? I thought we’d be bursting with poems on the blogs, but it’s not too late!
The official theme is “Work,” stick with that if you like, but as long as it is your own work we’re happy to see any theme covered so get posting!

Sunshine and blue sky here so this morning's 'work' has been hanging out a full line of washing and pottering around the garden.
Going out this evening for husband's birthday meal (his favourite place was closed on his real birthday) so I'll have to 'work' at making myself presentable - that could take some time!
In the meantime, I'm hoping my subconscious will be working in its own haphazard way - so it might come up with a poem by the end of the day.
