UPDATE ON FRIENDS

No doubt you will have realised that the Friends feature has been installed! It isn't quite finished yet, but I think it is working in a rough and ready way!

First of all you will notice that on your posts, next to the author's name this appears: (add to friends)

This equates to subscribing to someone's blog, but with the difference that you can see and manage your Friends in the back office or your Admin.

To do this login to your Admin or Back Office. As usual you will be presented with the posting form.

Look at the menu along the top and you should see Friends next to Profile.

When you click this you will see a list of your friends, (if you have any!). There is also a Reject button if you fall out or don't want to be friends with someone! (Heaven forbid!).

There will be some further modification on this, but that is how it stands at the moment, try it out and let me know if you find any errors.

So what is the idea of creating a Friends list? Well every time you post notification will go out to your friends so you should get more traffic to your blog.

Once this is all working O.K. there will be a further feature added whereby you will be able to invite non-Writelinks to become a friend. I'll keep you posted on that!

You will also be able to send off-site messages to your Friends list as well. :D:D

Forgot to say, the plugin has only been applied to the Site Blogs and anyone using Happy Blog! All the other skins should get it tomorrow.
