FRIENDS!

Here's a quick update on the Friends feature that I mentioned at the beginning of the year.

Just heard from the programmer and he's almost ready to install on the live site, possibly tomorrow!

This will represent a huge step forward for the blogs and mean we'll be well on the way to moving everything over to the blogs. I'll post more details when I have them, but meanwhile look out for an "Add Friends" button next to your posts. :D

Has anyone had a problem inviting 'non Writelink' friends to subscribe to their blogs? They receive a message which isn't very clear - it seems to not specify whose friend on the site they are going to be, so they don't know what it's all about...several of my friends and family have ignored the requests and deleted them as junk...anyone else had this experience?

Can you send me a copy of the invite friends email? I worked with our programmer on this to try and make it clear as the original was a bit vague. It's possible he did not apply the new copy. Send it to: sue@writelink.co.uk Thanks.
