I received a pleasant little message from the Nigerian Finance Minister who wants to put $125,000,000 through my bank account, in return for which he’ll pay me 10%. They must be having some problems with the International Monetary Fund.

I have no need of money at my age, but I did think of my sister’s children and grandchildren. It would have given them a good start in life. Fortunately, Darrel stopped me. He told me the message is Spam and the people sending it are crooks. Now there’s a novelty. When I was a young girl, just after the war, Spam was something we put on our sandwiches. It just goes to show, you’re never too old to learn.
